7th History
Ever wondered how the world got to where it is today? What happened between the life of Jesus and today? Why did the Roman Empire allow Jesus to be put to death? Why was the Roman Catholic church so important? Who is Louis XIV? What is the difference between World War I and World War II?... All these questions and many more will be answered in this class! We will be studying all of world history as it pertains to us today. Basically, we will begin with creation and follow the trail of history as it brings us to life in America in 2016-17.
Students will be given a set of notes at the beginning of each unit. A unit is all of the chapters covered on a single test. This packet of notes will cover all of the material they need to know for the test. Quizzes will also serve as excellent review for each test.
There will also be 2-3 tests each marking period, as well as one map test. One research paper will be assigned in the 2nd Marking Period. Details will be available at a later date. |
Looking forward to a great school year!
